Assessments

At Jaderberg Krais we offer two assessments, the 11+ Assessment and the Potential Assessment.

Families who have used our assessment services have been able to choose the most appropriate schools for their children's education. Children have successfully achieved places at the following schools:
Aldenham, Camden School for Girls, Channing, City of London, Dame Alice Owen's, Francis Holland, Haberdashers' Aske's, Highgate School, Immanuel College, Merchant Taylor's, Mill Hill County, Mill Hill School
North London Collegiate, North Bridge House, Queen Elazabeth's, South Hampstead High School, St Columba's College, St Margaret's, St Paul's, The Henrietta Barnett School, Latymer, The Mount, UCS, Westminster.

The 11+ Assessment

This assessment will help you to make key decisions about secondary schools. It measures your child’s academic suitability for the 11+ entrance exam for selective secondary schools and will give you an indication of your child’s likely success. All parents want to send their children to the right school – one they will be happy at and thrive. For some it will be a competitive secondary school, however this environment does not suit all children and it is important to identify this before preparing children for the 11+ exam.

It will provide you with your child’s national curriculum levels in maths and  English.

The results of the assessment  is interpreted for parents in a a  one to one feedback session with one of our experts, lasting about an hour. We  will explain how your child may perform in the 11+ exam and give and indication of their levels of achievement compared to the national average.

We will also highlight the next steps; the areas your child will need to work on to pass the exam.

The Potential Assessment

This assessment will help you to make key decisions about your child's academic future. This assessment will let you know your child’s current academic level in maths and English and compare this with their potential. This will allow you to see if your child is reaching their full potential and if they are not, why not?

Children do not need any previous experience of verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning to sit the tests. Parents and children are able to view examples of tests before starting, to familiarise themselves with the type of questions which will be asked.

One of our experts will provide feedback and valuable information about your child’s strengths and weaknesses and give you helpful advice on what to do next and how to help your child make progress.

Armed with this knowledge you will be able to make informed and realistic decisions about your child’s academic future.

Each of our assessments is offered on a one to one basis.

One to one assessments

These are assessments which take place in person at the home of one of our teachers either in Mill Hill or in Finchley.

A  one to one assessment takes approximately 3 hours. Once the assessment has been completed and interpreted, parents meet for an hour’s  feedback session to discuss the scores and follow on recommendations. This is  written  in a report and given to parents at the feedback.
